2. How do I start or stop the app?

  • To start keeping your Mac awake, click the menubar icon and select Start from the dropdown menu.

  • To stop the app, click the menubar icon again and select Stop.

3. How do I change the interval?

  1. Click the menubar icon.

  2. Go to the Set Interval (min) section.

  3. Select your desired interval (1, 2, 5, or 10 minutes). The app will update automatically.

4. Can I set Caffeinated to launch at startup?

Yes!

  1. Open the dropdown menu by clicking the menubar icon.

  2. Select Activate on Startup. A checkmark will appear to confirm it is enabled.

5. How do I know if the app is active?

When the app is active, the menubar icon will appear filled (e.g., a filled coffee cup). When inactive, the icon will revert to an outline.
